Due to covid only 1 parent and 1 child allowed.
ID Requirements
You must have ID with you to get a piercing; regardless of your age. If you are signing for consent for a piercing you must provide ID for both yourself and the child. The ID must match either last names or address; I may also photocopy both pieces for my records. I reserve the right to refuse to perform a body piercing on a person of any age if I believe they cannot care for the piercing or if the piercing wanted would not heal properly.
How long before I can change the starter jewelry?
In accordance with healing, this time period can vary from person to person. There are two things to consider: the initial and full healing periods. The initial healing period is that time when the body creates a nice layer of skin between you and the starter jewelry. The full healing period is when the new piercing is entirely healed. Usual recommended time is 3 months MINIMUM. Don’t change out starter jewelry until the piercing is FULLY healed unless otherwise advised by your piercer. If you suspect your piercing has an infection contact your piercer and we will advise you in what to do.
Should I use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean my piercing?
DO NOT use any type of alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean your piercing. Alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are not meant for cleaning piercings, and will only irritate, complicate, and delay the healing process. Both products dry out all the new skin cells that are trying to form for a healed piercing.
How long should I wait before stretching my piercing?
It's a good idea to wait at least 3 times as long as the healing period before attempting to stretch. This is only a General Rule, so sometimes you can go faster, sometimes slower. It's always a good idea to let your piercer do the stretching as the right tools for the job make it a lot easier. Patience is a virtue, stretch at a normal pace...when your body wants you too.
I have an emergency! What should I do?
No matter how much valuable information you may find on the Internet, there is no substitute for a visual diagnosis -- which can be given best by me your local piercer. If you are uncomfortable with my opinion in any way, please visit your physician. Keep in mind, though: some doctors are knowledgeable about piercings and some are not.
Why do I have to start with stainless steel, titanium, or gold jewelry?
These are the best materials to prevent adverse reactions to the new object in your body. There will be plenty of time for the fun involved with changing your jewelry to express yourself or reflect your personal style. Try to enjoy each stage of your new piercing and understand that the better you treat your new piercing/s, the sooner you’ll be able to sport new jewelry.
Is this going to leave a scar?
Any time tissue is punctured there is potential for scarring to occur. Not following the aftercare instructions given to you by your artist will greatly increase the chances of scarring. If you have bumped or had your new piercing pulled or tugged in a forcefull manner the piercing may create a keloid (scar tissue). In the event a piercing begins to grow out (move towards the surface) contact your piercer to have it removed.
Is it going to hurt?
Yes, however this varies greatly for each person and is dependent on what piercing you are receiving. The actual piercing should literally take a second to be preformed if done by a experienced and qualified artist. Your anticipation may be more uncomfortable than the actual piercing itself.. Pain is different for each person. Some people are more sensitive while others will barely feel anything. Regardless of how sensitive you are, we will be there to explain everything, and make sure that you are as comfortable as possible throughout your piercing experience.
The most common comment right after a piercing usually “That was it?”
Can't I just get pierced with a gun at the mall?
Getting pierced with a piercing-gun is very unhealthy for your body. A piercing-gun is used in combination with the actual earring which is pointy but definitely not sharp, this inflicts blunt trauma force to the body which causes excessive scarring and swelling and increases the chance for infection and an unpleasant healing process. ALL piercings should be performed with a hollow, surgical steel tribevel needle.
Piercing guns cannot be sterilized. Since the piercing gun cannot be properly cleaned you could be exposed to blood borne disease carried by any previous customer. Jewelry used in combination with the piercing gun is low quality and may result in health complications such as allergic reactions
Can I do activities after my piercing?
You should be able to continue your normal way of living as long as you are not engaging in activities that will prevent or disrupt the healing process.
Exercise:
▪ You must be aware of your piercing, and avoid getting it caught or bumping it into things during the day. This could be very painful in some cases and may disrupt the healing process.
▪ If you are exercising, make sure your piercing does not come into contact with any surfaces that may be dirty. Make sure to cover your piercing and always clean it after exercising while it is still healing.
Swimming, hot tubs, and baths
◦ You must avoid submerging the piercing/tattoo in any body of water until it is fully healed.

Tattoo FAQ
How are tattoos priced?
Our shop hourly rate is $180/hr – and we have a shop minimum of $100 for a tattoo.
When you get a tattoo, the price of it should be your lowest concern. Your artists ability should take priority.
Great tattoos are never cheap and cheap tattoos are never great.
Are you expected to tip your artist?
I mean, we won’t tell you not to! But whether or not you should tip your artist falls on you. It’s your choice to tip however much or however little you want.
Do you need an appointment for a tattoo?
We take both walk-ins and appointments. If you are wanting a tattoo that is larger than a toonie, you’ll need an appointment.
But before you get your appointment, you’ll need to have a consultation with an/your artist.
What is a consultation?
A consult is where you and an artist get to talk about the tattoo you are wanting. In this consult they will ask questions about what you want, where you want it and how big you are wanting it. During your consult you will also get a rough quote of the final cost of the tattoo – a quoted price can change depending on any last minute changes you make to the tattoo and how well you sit.
After your consultation if you are wanting to go forward with your tattoo design, the artist will then take a deposit from you and write you down in the books for a future tattoo appointment..
What is a deposit?
When it comes to tattoos, there are quite a few people who back out of their tattoo at the last minute. Think of a deposit as an insurance policy for the artist. Your deposit insures them that you are in fact going to get the tattoo.
Your deposit will usually be $100 and will be applied towards the end cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are also non refundable and non transferable – meaning you cannot take your deposit and transfer it over for another persons tattoo.
Why would you lose your deposit? If you don’t show up to or cancel your appointment after putting down a deposit, your deposit is the artists guarantee that they will get paid for drawing your custom tattoo. If you bail, the artist still needs to get paid for that tattoo they drew. Though tattooing is a super fun career, we also have houses and bills to pay for.
Can you have a drink before your tattoo?
No. We don’t drink and ink, so you can’t drink and get a tattoo. If you have had a drink, or ingested any kind of mind altering substance, we can and will decline to tattoo you. You may have the option to move your appointment to a different date if such a thing were to happen.
Should you eat before or after your tattoo?
Yes. Please come to your tattoo well fed and watered so your body is in a strong and healthy condition. We recommend eating at least 2-3 hours before your tattoo so your food has plenty of chance to digest a little.
After your tattoo, you should also eat a proper and well balanced meal to bring your body back up to a state where it can help your immune system heal your new tattoo..
What should you bring to your tattoo?
Your government issued ID – Driver’s License is preferred. A bottle of water to help re-hydrate you. And a little, sweet snacky to help bring your blood sugars back up..
Does it hurt to get a tattoo?
Well. It doesn’t feel like you’re getting licked by kittens, but it isn’t the worst pain out there. Pain is such a relative subject, it really just depends on your body. If you feel like your pain tolerance is low, tell your artist and they can help you through the tattoo with numbing sprays or mental support.
What should you wear to your appointment?
Something comfortable. You most likely will be in some discomfort while getting tattoo, so don’t add to it by wearing something uncomfortable. Don’t dress to impress, wear your T-shirt and some comfy pants.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Your deposit will also be forfeit if you cancel your tattoo appointment. If you cancel your appointment, you may see a copy of your tattoo or reference material, but not your deposit.
